It’s funny how a person’s demeanor towards you can completely change once they realize they aren’t going to get anything out of you. Everything comes to a screeching halt; no more texts about how cute you look, no more desire on their behalf to spend time with you, and the overall interest is just gone completely. If you’re not going to be upfront with me and let your intentions be known from the get-go, then I’d prefer that you just avoid involving yourself with me altogether.
